The historic Chapel Bell on the University of Georgia's campus is celebrating its 173rd year. The 700-pound bell has a new tower which was built and completed in August. Sadly it was silent this weekend following UGA's loss to Alabama, but tradition calls for a ringing of the bell with each victory by UGA's football team.

I am in complete awe of this shot. First, it's perfect. Gorgeous framing, color, and light. Second, I went to get this shot last round for "structure." But, the bell was not there. That's when I learned of this story you just told. Now it's back, and you have the shot I wanted!! :) Love it.
